When my friend’s daughter, now 18 (OH MY GOD it hurts to type that!), was about six months old we gave her a lemon to try. She tasted it, made that face babies make when they hate something, then reached for it again, then made that face, then reached for it again, then the face, then again, for about ten minutes. We were howling with laughter.
So, this brings back some fond memories.
Pucker is a photo series by April Maciborka, featuring the faces of babies and children tasting lemons, that went viral last summer. Now Maciborka has created a slow-motion video of said babes tasting lemons, set to Grieg’s Peer Gynt: In the Hall of the Mountain King. Natch.
It’s quite amusing. Enjoy.
